Walk the Delivery Path; Measure doorways, hallways, stairways, and areas where there may be a tight fit to ensure your appliance will fit.
Measure Your Space; First, the height from the floor to the bottom of any overhead cabinets/countertop, then, the depth, leaving additional space to open the machine door, and finally, the width. Don’t forget to leave space for breathing room on each side and in the back.
Check Outlets/Water Lines; Make sure you have an electrical outlet within reach of the appliance’s power cord and a water shut-off valve located on the same floor, within 4 feet of where you’ll install the appliance.
